Human Friendly Robotics attends NeoCon 2026 in Chicago
We went to Chicago to bring robotic installation into the conversation about how commercial interiors get built.
NeoCon is a commercial interiors trade show where architects, designers, and manufacturers meet around the products that go into workplaces and other commercial spaces. Human Friendly Robotics attended the 2026 event in Chicago. Ahead of the show, our founder Shamoon Siddiqui invited conversations about automation on large flooring and renovation projects.
A specified floor still needs a crew to install it. We design our robots around that work, starting with Tyler, which handles repetitive flooring placement alongside skilled installers. For us, NeoCon was a place to connect that approach with the people choosing materials and planning commercial spaces. Installation speed, consistency, and crew capacity belong in those decisions too.
